Bill Clinton and James Patterson write political thriller

WESTCHESTER, NEW YORK, UNITED STATES (MAY 21, 2018) (BBC) – Former U.S. President Bill Clinton and best selling co-author James Patterson released their thriller novel “The President is Missing” on Monday (June 4).

The plot revolves around a president who disappears following a cyber attack that threatens to bring the country and the world to its knees.

In an interview on May 31, Clinton and Patterson said that that they worked vigourously from the start to tell a story that could be real.

On the topic of cyber attacks, Patterson said cyber terrorism posed a huge threat, whilst Clinton added that cyber threat had the power to kill a lot more people in a lot less time.

Although Clinton has already released four non-fiction books, “The President is Missing” is set to be his first novel.
