‘Faith more powerful than govt’ says Trump as he signs order to promote religion

WASHINGTON, D.C., UNITED STATES (MAY 3, 2018) (NBC) – U.S. President Donald Trump on Thursday (May 3) signed an executive order to create a faith-based initiative at the White House which would promote policies that he said recognize “the vital role of faith” in American life.

The order, he said, would among other things ensure that “faith-based organizations have equal access to government funding”.

The new executive order was signed during a ceremony in the White House Rose Garden during the National Day for Prayer.
