Grace Jones rocks Tommy Hilfiger show at Paris Fashion Week

PARIS, FRANCE (MARCH 2, 2019) (REUTERS) – American-Jamaican supermodel Grace Stones strutted her stuff down the catwalk of Paris Fashion Week on Saturday (March 2) closing the “TommyXZendaya” show, where American designer Tommy Hilfiger and singer and actor Zendaya presented their collaborative Fall/Winter 2019-2020 collection.

Audience members cheered as Jones walked out and began dancing on the runway as a very cheerful Gigi Hadid watched in background clapping her hands to the music.

The show was inspired by 1970s icons and the Battle of Versailles fashion show held in 1973, a charity contest where five French designers (Dior, Hubert de Givenchy, Yves Saint Laurent, Pierre Cardin and Emanuel Ungaro) competed against five American designers (Oscar de la Renta, Anne Klein, Stephen Burrows, Bill Blass and Halston).

Hilfiger is one of the best-known names in U.S. fashion and is now owned by clothing giant PVH.
