Indian family of 181 share bond of love under one roof

AIZAWL, MIZORAM, INDIA (NOVEMBER 26, 2018) (ANI) – A family in India’s northeastern Mizoram state of 181 members, making it one of the largest in the world, has been living under one roof with a shared understanding for years now.

The family includes, the 73-year-old head, Ziona, his 39 wives, 94 children, 14 daughters-in-law, and 33 grandchildren believe in living in harmony with each other by sharing the work load to ensure smooth functioning of the family.

The family is self-reliant for almost everything, while the women take care of the household chores, like cooking in large utensils on wooden furnaces and cleaning of the house of 181, the men attend to their family occupation that includes, breeding of animals, growing crops and making and selling furniture in order to earn money. In fact, according to reports, Ziona has also opened his own school for the children in the family.

Ziona, who is the guiding force of the family and is respected by all said, he was blessed by God to have such a big family with all the family members living in unity. His wives say that they all love him equally. According to reports, his first wife, whom he married at the age of 17 runs the household from inside and all the other wives, respect and follow her commands.
